MyMemories Suite...such a great software!

Last post I talked about how I was going digital...well...I just discovered something really fun. It is a scrapbook software called MyMemories Suite. It is so easy-to-use that I made my first photo album in a matter of minutes! I simply drag-and-dropped my pictures right into these beautiful layouts. That was it! I had over 30 pages done before I knew it. I then tried creating my own pages from scratch, and that was fun too! I am so excited about this software, I have found a way for you to get it too—at an affordable price. Simply go to http://www.mymemories.com/digital_scrapbooking_software and use STMMMS54875 in the promo code box on the shopping cart page! You will get $10 off the software (reduced price of only $29.95), plus you get a coupon for $10 for the MyMemories online store. You can make scrapbooks you can print at home or turn them into professionally printed books! It is really fun! Go check it out.

Going to the digital world..

So I have a lot of catching up to do in the scrapbooking world...I'm about 3 years behind so I'm totally going to enter the digital era. Hopefully I will be able to get caught up and it uses less space. It will also be a great learning experience for me. So watch out world here I come. :) Things that have been going on in our little world is I now have a rising 6th grader and a rising kindergartener. Where did all the time go? Crazy stuff but it will be fun. Our princess has taken off in the reading world. She loves Rick Riordan especially the Percy Jackson series. Both of them love technology and always beg to use the computer, or kindle, or phone...what's a girl got to do? Our diva is as dramatic as ever and she is cute about it..and of course she knows it. She loves her sister a lot.

It's Summertime..it's summertime...it's so HOT!!

This summer has been interesting that's for sure. It's also been very HOT! I believe the highest was 105 and with humidity on top of that. Crazy is what it is. We've been doing lot of fun activities though. The princess has become like a dolphin. One of the sisters in our ward agreed to teach her if I watched her 3 children (mainly her 11 mo old) and let her do about 20-30 min of laps. I readily agreed. I'm so glad that we have a pool.
Things are a little bit weird this summer. Normally we go tubing at least 4 or more times and we go to the beach at least once. We went tubing the Sat right before we flew to Utah. On Sunday my man started to feel spasms starting at his foot and shooting up his leg. Our health care physicians are still trying to figure out what's wrong although the specialist thinks he just has a pinched nerve. It has curtailed many of our activities. He actually wears a boot and has a cane. It's crazy. I'm also the driver all the time since we have a stick shift car and his foot that is in pain is his left. Not fun at all. Everytime that it starts to heal our diva does something to injure it again whether its stepping on it or the first time was hitting a phone there. I still don't know how that happened. Also we were supposed to go to the beach but my mans parents are selling it. We have truly been blessed in the past to be able to go to the beach or tubing without having to pay for a place. It's going to be painful next time when we go to rent a place at the beach.
Talking about Utah, we went out there for almost 10 days, at least the girls and I did. My sister got married and then we visited family. We also were able to do some temple work while we were there. My man's mom was finally sealed to her parents. It was such an awesome experience, one that I'll never forget. :) It was great. We also got to spend time with both sides of the family. Many of them had not met our diva yet so that was lots of fun. It was also a great break. When we pulled into my sis-in-laws driveway, we had been there for 5 minutes and my girls were whisked off to play with their cousins. My sis and I were able to go run errands. Wow...that was amazing to go shopping without kids. It was pure bliss. I was very spoiled. :)
It is so crazy to believe that we are in August. Next week our diva turns 2. I can't believe how fast time is flying. She has such a mischievous personality. A couple of weeks before we left for Utah she climbed out of her crib and then the next night she climbed out of her playpen. She is so curious. It's fun to be able to watch her learn and grow. She is learning to say new words every day and has such a great memory.
In April our princess turned 8. She was able to be baptized on her birthday which was such a great and awesome experience. I'm so proud of her that she followed our Savior Jesus Christs example.

Card Challenge (MTSC62) & Fun.

Okay...so I've got into cards lately and I've decided to enter my first challenge. This is Mercy's Tuesday Challenge MTSC62.

I used cardstock-pink, maroon, cream; inkadinkado fancy that butterfly, ink it up black pigment stamp, black fine tip creative memory marker, stampin'up grey pencil, black martha stewart embossing powder, red stampin'up pencil, berry creative memory fine tip marker, ribbon, flowery paper, creative memories circles from the cutting system. Next time I'll make sure I write down where I got all the papers. I know I got them from Michaels but I don't know which company. Sorry.

What do you think of the card? I tried embossing for the first time. It is so much fun. I enjoy it. Now I've got to do more cards. :) I also need to catch up on my girls scrapbooks. Nothing to do. :)
Here's also a card that I did with skipping stones design stamps. I love their stamps. On the inside it says "as the pitter-patter of little feet".

Happy New Years

It's almost 2010. Where did 2009 go. I'm sorry I haven't posted as much. I usually write more and put more pics on Facebook then I do here. I have new pics of my girls and one of myself there now. They were taken the first week of December. :) so, go look there and you can read all of the fun things that have been happening there. I have had lots of fun watching my girls grow up and discover new things and do new things. Life is busy but fun. Besides being a mom and a wife, I'm still doing creative memories, doing some admin work from home and I now have 14 piano students. Wow!!! I wasn't going to take any more but my princess said that she liked all of the playdates. Well keep looking on facebook and I'll try to post more here. Happy New Years. Hope 2010 is better for everyone or just as good if it was awesome.

Catching up....

I can't believe how fast time flies. I guess I say this a lot and I'm sorry. A lot of things have happened. Our diva turned 1 in August and she is so cute. The other day when we were gone to Miami, my mom said that our diva saw her pick out a popcorn seed out of the bowl. Then our diva started picking them out also. She had to pick them all out before she ate another popcorn. I heard it was rather funny. (My mom stayed from Sun-Fri while my hubby and I were gone to Miami-what a sweatheart.) Our diva is teething right now she's working on teeth-7,8, and 9 which two are molars. Also, the other night I forgot to put her pj's on so she slept in a white shirt and diaper. Our princess comes in and told us that our diva had took off her diaper and was still sleeping. Oh boy. She has also been coming in the bathroom with me and sitting on the stool so I got her her own toilet seat. The first night she lifted up the seat sat down, got up put down the seat. Then she tried lifting up the seat again to sit down again. She had the biggest smile on her face as to say look at me..I'm a big girl.
Our princess is in the 2nd grade. She is starting to enjoy reading and "writing" in her journal. She loves to read the fairy books and read to her baby sister. Also at school she gets to use a computer for her home journal. It's great. when she puts a letter in it will give her a choice of possible words. Then at the end of the sentence it reads what was written. She also enjoys her time with daddy at night. Her daddy has been reading the scripture stories to her each night which helps with her reading and her knowledge. I love it. While he is doing that I'm putting our diva to sleep. She loves art and spanish class.
This past week the girls had fun. For the trunk or treat they dressed up as tinkerbells and for halloween they dressed up as witches. We got a lot of cute comments about the girls. It was a riot. We just went around our neighborhood and we got a grocery sack of candy for each girl. Boy was that fun. We get to have fun enforcing the "parent" tax....we get one...they get one??? :) J/K Our princess is really good about sharing...and our diva isn't that old enough to care either way. Isn't it great. Well, got to run. Hope to put up pics soon.
